Think about it years ago we fed our dogs nothing but table scraps and they lived into their 20's. In moderation we believe people food is good for our dogs. Whatever we are having for dinner all our dogs will have some also. Not including spicy, or hot sauce, etc. Use common sense here, we are talking about a little piece of hamburger, steak, noodles, rice, fish with no bones, etc. People food is fed on the days we don't feed mackarel or salmon. And last are the bones. Don't panic, if bones are fed raw they don't splinter. Never cook bones. We buy our bones from the supermarket, they are beef soup bones or you can get them at the local butcher. We then freeze them to kill bacteria, salmonella,etc. Nothing is better for a teething puppy than to have a nice cold bone. We give them to our pups and dogs frozen. You will also notice how white and clean your dogs teeth will be. We give one per week and throw out the old one at this time.
